About Us
The old livery stable on site at Arva Flour Mill house a few businesses before ultimately becoming home to the Red River Cafe and Bakery in 2024. In the early winter after a brief period of closure we re-opened the doors with a new vision. We envision a bake shop and cafe that allows us the opportunity to showcase the potential of the flour milled on site. Creating products in house, as well as showcasing products made from our wholesale bakery customers, we are striving to offer a delicious lineup of products. From savory breakfast sandwiches, cookies, scones, assortment of squares, and much more you are certain to leave satisfied. Stop in for a coffee, grab a treat to enjoy, or a dozen to take away. Take a moment to check out the mill, the retail store, and the beautiful grounds.

Julie - With a lifetime career based in the culinary world Julie brings years of experience (and flavour) to the cafe. With a passion for feeding people she keeps the savory options exciting and delicious. Catering, restaurant ownership, and feeding family and friends have given Julie more than ample experience in creating offerings that will leave your taste buds wanting more!
Makhaila - Formal culinary training from Fanshawe College laid the foundation for this baker extraordinaire. With experience at a number of bakeries Makhaila offers a fun approach to classic baked goods. We are always looking for new ways to put her creating and decorating talents to good use for you to enjoy!
